Would you like to spend a romantic holiday in a comfortable tent, in connection with nature, but with maximum comfort? Of course, the outdoor sauna with a hot bathtub and the quality vine is included. And I am not even speaking about the night skyline.
First of all, let’s make clear what is the glamping. It is a connection of two words – glamorous camping = glamping. It is a concept when you live in a close connection with nature but in comfortable conditions.
Glamping Brdy is a tent that looks like a half-transparent bubble. It provides you privacy, as well as the comfort of hot water, toilet, and a small kitchen. From your bed, you have a view on hayfields and forests so that you can observe the animals and skyline with stars during the night. Furthermore, right from your bed, you can observe the sunrise and let the first rays of the sun kiss your face.
Inside the tent, you can find everything you need for your comfortable stay. I was excited about the professionally prepared breakfast in glass jars, tasty muesli, and quality vines in a fridge that you will undoubtedly find convenient during the evening. Furthermore, if you decide to explore the surrounding area and go mushrooming, you find a mushroom guide and gumboots here as well.
Your whole stay is well prepared for your maximum comfort. The owner and founder, David Jehlička, keeps a high standard for his guests as he is used to from his regular job in Switzerland. For years, he has been a private chef of the family owning the brand Gucci. Since the past year, he is regularly coming back to the Czech Republic and developing the concept of glamping here. So, we might expect more exciting projects like this.
The highlight of your stay in Glamping Brdy is undoubtedly the outdoor wellness. Just next to your tent, you find an outdoor sauna, wooden bathtub, and grill. After our arrival, the sauna was already warmed up, and the water in the bathtub hot enough for an evening outdoor relax. We opened a vine prepared in the fridge, warm up ourselves in the sauna, chilled in an outdoor shower, took a glass of vine to the bathtub, and relaxed almost until midnight, while watching the night skyline. As you understand, this is a perfect vacation for couples. So, be ready for a pure romantic experience.
How to Get to Glamping Brdy
Brdy is a protected landscape area about one hour south of Prague. The whole area was closed to the public for about 100 years because it used to be a restricted military area. The tents are located on the edge of the village called Hutě pod Třemšínem, surrounded by forest and fields, so you have a maximum of peace and privacy for your stay.
