During your stay in Znojmo, there is no reason to make compromises about your accommodation. The best option is to stay in Clemar hotel or its apartments. It depends on your preferences. However, you can find both options at the best locations in the historical city center.
Hotel Clemar
If you decide to stay in the hotel or the apartments, you need to check-in at the hotel reception. It has a great location, just a few steps from the Znojmo castle. It also serves as a base for your breakfasts provided as an open buffet of local products. We also received excellent advice from ladies at the reception and maps of the local area, including the National Park Podyjí.
The hotel itself offers nine rooms of different sizes and dispositions. Every room has an original design and a rewarding view from its windows. If you are coming for a romantic weekend, I would highly recommend you room with a freestanding bath just next to your beds.
Clemar Apartments Old Town
If you prefer accommodation in the apartments, Hotel Clemar recently reconstructed two apartments in the historical center, just next to the St. Nicholas Church, the main city dominant. From your rooms, you have an exceptional view of the church, as well as at the picturesque streets of the old town, or the massive gorge with the Dyje river. You can’t have anything better. In the basement is a lovely pancake café with a hidden garden in the courtyard.
On the first floor, just above the café, you can find two freshly reconstructed apartments opened in summer 2020. Besides the fantastic location and views from the windows, you have all the comfort you need, even for several days of stay.
The first apartment has a one-bedroom and living room with a folding sofa, so it can easily accommodate up to four people. We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment with a living room, suitable for up to six people. Both apartments are perfectly suitable for families and group of friends. We just changed apartment after ladies that celebrated the Bachelor party. By the way, it’s a great idea, since Znojmo offers degustation of local vines. So, it might be a good hint for you as well.
In general, the connection of excellent accommodation, exploration of Znojmo, and trips to surrounding National Park Podyjí made an unforgettable holiday. It was my first visit to this Moravian city, and I was sincerely impressed. I believe that you will like it as well.
