This place is unique and fabulous for two things – amazing ice-cream sandwiches and beautiful interior, where you feel like at home. When I entered it for the first time, I just fell in love immediately. So, when you are around Karlin district, make sure you have a try because this place will certainly grab your heart.
Ice-cream sandwiches alias Parlorky have a one-hundred years tradition in San Francisco. Now, you can have it in Karlin district as well. The principle is simple. Choose your cookies, your ice-cream, and topping, and enjoy it! You can choose from more than eight different flavors of cookies that are freshly baked in Parlor Café every day. I choose a lemon cookie with poppy seeds and it was fabulous. Then choose one or two flavors of ice-cream that is prepared by the famous Czech brand Crème de la Crème. As a final step, choose your topping that ranges from various nuts, chocolate, caramel, olive oil or balsamic. Yes, it is not a usual combination with ice-cream but apparently, it’s worthwhile to try!
Interior of Parlor Café
Once you have this delicious beauty, take your seat in a beautiful interior. I really love the retro style furniture that looks like from my grandmother apartment, however with a very fresh design. Especially the flowers everywhere around, even on the ceilings, provides a great final touch of the atmosphere. This is just a great place to enjoy your coffee and even a glass of wine. Parlor Café is a lively place even by evenings, so take your chance even after your working hours, you deserve it!
